Florentino Perez is obsessed with taking Barça star Neymar to Real Madrid
Los Blancos's president wanted to sign the Brazilian from Santos and still has ambitions of seeing him dressed in white playing at the Santiago Bernabeu
Florentino Perez will make a serious move to try and sign Neymar from Barcelona, according to AS journalist Javier Matallanas.
The Madrid president thought he’d be able to sign the Brazilian from Santos, believing that the deal was practically done. Since then, even though Neymar’s moved to Barcelona, he has remained Los Blancos’s president’s obsession.
Madrid want to interfere with the negotiations between Barça and Neymar over a new deal and would be ready to better any economic offer presented to the 23-year-old by the Catalan club.
Despite this, the player himself said after the win against Real Sociedad that it’s his intention to remain at Barcelona, where he is in fine form along with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in attack.
This is his third season in blaugrana and he’s currently the top goal scorer in La Liga with 14 goals.
