Fiorentina remain optimistic over completing Cristian Tello signing
Fiorentina are still in the hunt for Cristian Tello and hope to secure a return for the Barcelona forward ahead of next season.
The 24-year-old spent half of the 2015/16 campaign on loan to the Viola and helped the club secure a fifth place finish in Serie A.
Andrea Della Valle, president of Fiorentina, has shown optimism over Tello's potential permanent signing and according to sources close to the Italian club, a deal could be closed for seven million euros.
"We're working very hard to make him a Fiorentina player," Valle said.
There were also rumours that Tello could be involved in the Andre Gomes deal - who's move from Valencia to Barça was agreed on Thursday - but the player is set on a move back to Florence.
Fiorentina now await the arrival of Tello's representative, Josep Maria Orobitg, to close the deal as soon as possible with Luis Enrique seeing no room for the Sabadell man in his plans.
