Barcelona raised their initial offer by more than 20 million euros

Agreement with the player is total and he skipped training on Thursday

Barcelona are pushing to sign Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund, with the German side announcing they had rejected an offer from the Catalan giants.

The Blagurana had a first offer of around 70 million euros, plus variables rejected. Dortmund have now turned down a second.

On Thursday Barcelona representatives offered 90 million euros plus a series of variables that could take the deal to 130 million. They thought this would be enough to tempt Dortmund, but they rejected.

The agreement between Barcelona and Dembele is total, for five seasons on 10 million euros a year. For the French winger, 20, signing for Barcelona is the top objective and he has turned down various other clubs including Real Madrid.

Dembele didn't train on Thursday, with the club fining him for his insolence, but he is still in Dortmund and not heading to Barcelona as some reports claimed.
