Fake Messi interview: journalist says it's nothing to do with him & magainze is "investigating"
Coach Magazine has removed the article and are looking into what happened
After LMM, Leo Messi Management, released a statement to deny the authenticity of the supposed (and perhaps invented) interview with the Barça star in the outlet which had published it, the reaction from the cited media and the journalist the article had been attributed to arrived.
On the website of said media, at the top of the story, there's a photograph of Messi in a Barcelona.
However, the article now only says: "Update 18th January 2017. It has come to our attention that the authenticity of this interview has been questioned. We have removed the interview while we investigate."
And the journalisted credited with the interview, Diego Jokas, has denied any involvement in it.
He tweeted: "I want to clarify that I don't work nor have I worked for Coach Magazne and I did not participate in this interview with Messi which has been attributed to me."
Quiero aclarar que no trabajo ni trabajé para la revista Coach Magazine y no participé de la entrevista a Messi que me atribuyen

Undoubtedly, at the time of publication of these denials, the statement from LMM in which, in addition to making clear that the interview is false, warned that they "reserve the right to take legal action", must have carried weight.
