The deal between Barcelona and Coutinho, agreed in June, still stands
SPORT can report that Barcelona will make a new 120 million euro offer for Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho in the winter transfer window. An offer which, if accepted, will put and end to a saga that has gone on for months. As reported in June, Barcelona and Coutinho reached an agreement over his contract which SPORT have learned will still stand if the deal takes place in January.
Neither of the two sides are thinking about changing what was agreed, a deal for five years. Coutinho is still desperate to play for Barcelona and sooner or later, those desires will be fulfilled.
