Ernesto Valverde sees Espanyol as favourites to progress

Ernesto Valverde spoke after Barcelona's defeat by Espanyol in the Copa quarters first leg.
The coach said "we dominated the game completely, they waited for us deep, waiting for their chance. It was a cup game, with a strong atmosphere. The shame is that we did not turn our domination into goals. We accept it and look forward to the second leg. Our attitude was very good."
On the Messi penalty miss he said: "It gave them comfidence. The truth is that Diego made a great save. It was a tight derby and any detail could decide it. We didn't score and they did."
"The favourite in the end is those who won, who have the advantage. The result does not favour us. We have to play at home but they will try and score. It's the cup and we have to play until the end."
