Ernesto Valverde rewards seven players with a break from Murcia game
The Barça coach will mix things up and make changes in the Copa del Rey
Ter Stegen, Busquets, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Paulinho & Umtiti given time off
FC Barcelona trained on Sunday, with those that played in the win against Malaga on Saturday taking part in a recovery session. The 2-0 win kept Barça four points clear after nine games of the season.
The Catalan side's next game is on Tuesday, in the Copa del Rey against Real Murcia at the Nueva Condomina. However, not all Ernesto Valverde's players will travel to Murcia for the match.
Valverde has given seven players special permission to miss training on Monday and to have the day off on Tuesday.
Those players are Marc-André Ter Stegen, Sergio Busquets, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Leo Messi, Paulinho and Samuel Umtiti, all of whom --except Paulinho -- started on Saturday. They're due back in on Wednesday.
Valverde will replace them with players from the B team, with Carles Aleña, Marc Cucurella and Jose Arnaiz among seven youngsters who trained on Sunday with the first team.
