Eric Abidal: UEFA left out Busquets, they haven't got a clue

UEFA announced their list of 40 candidates for their team of the year on Tuesday, with eight Barcelona players on the list. 

They are  Javier Mascherano, Gerard Piqué, Dani Alves, Andrés Iniesta, Iván Rakitic, Neymar Jr, Luis Suárez and Leo Messi. However one name has been omitted which has caused a fuss: Sergio Busquets.

Eric Abidal, former Barcelona star, pointed this out in an interview with Bein Sports. 

The ex-defender commented: "Those who have made the list have no idea about football because Busquets isn't on it." 

Busquets was a key piece of the puzzle last term as Barcelona won the treble.
