Elections for the next Barcelona president will take place on July 18
Ramon Adell, president of the committee that presides over Barcelona while there is no elected board, announced in front of the media on Wednesday night that the elections to become the next president of FC Barcelona will be on July 18.
Adell explained that the committee's priority was to call the elections as soon as possible.
He also said that the Saturday, not the Sunday, has been chosen to boost participation. It should be remembered that previously most people had expected the date to be July 19.
The voting will take place between 09.00h and 21.00h at Camp Nou, with Adell saying there will be things going on to create a "party" atmosphere.
In addition, Adell revealed that the committee have suggested the club help with transport for socios who wish to vote. Above all, for those who live a long way from Barcelona.
