Edmilson suggests Neymar should ease off the tricks

Former Barcelona defender Edmilson thinks Neymar should ease off the skills when Luis Enrique's side are winning games comfortably.

The Brazilian, speaking to Onda Cero, suggested someone should have a word with the 24-year-old.

"I don't think Neymar should do the flicks and tricks when games are decided," he said.

"He does it without thinking because it is his way of playing, but someone should say something."

Edmilson also spoke a range of over Neymar related subjects:

On signing for Barça: "It was Neymar's dream to play for Barcelona, to follow the Brazilians that had been there: Evaristo, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho... And he prepared mentally to play there because you know it's different to play for Barça because there's the feeling of a nation [Catalonia] and you know that you are representing a big club."

On Real Madrid interest: "Neymar wouldn't go to Madrid because of his character and his way of being, but he could go to other teams because there are clauses and if the clubs pay it and the player wants... I'm not talking about feelings there but about ambition, because if [offers] arrive with a load of money..."

On English interest: "Going to Manchester United? No, I don't see him in England because I don't know if it's football he would adapt to. He has to think about many things, the quality of life, the team he's playing for..."

On bulding a legacy: "Thinking personally, I would stay at Barça because clubs operate in cycles - the Cruyff cycle, Romario cycle... and soon it will be Neymar's turn with titles and to make history and that is important when you retire. Money is important, too, but to leave a legacy at a club like Barça is as important."
