Dybala and Lemar, possible last minute alternatives to Coutinho!

With less than three days until the close of the transfer window, Barça are still looking for one or two more players in attack. Coutinho remains the priority. But, with Liverpool still refusing to negotiate, Barça are looking at alternatives.

The first is Paulo Dybala. Barça were looking at him last year but the fee involved ruled out any move for the player, who is friends with Messi. This summer, with the Neymar cash in Barça’s pocket, it could be possible. Nevertheless, Juventus will want at least €100 million for the Argentinian star.

Another option is Thomas Lemar, who is more of a winger, The 21-year-old Monaco player is being looked at by Liverpool as a replacement for Coutinho and reports suggested Liverpool were willing to pay €81 million for the player. But the move has been put on hold as all sides await the outcome of the Coutinho saga.

Antoine Griezmann has been linked with Barça in recent days but the player can be ruled out due to his fee (he has a release fee of €200 million) and because Barça have a non-aggression pact with Atlético regarding ‘taking’ players at the end of a window.

We will have to wait and see what happens but Barça are still trying to increase their options in attack.
