Douglas slips up at press conference when asked about No 16 shirt

Douglas has taken the No 16 shirt at Barcelona, which had been vacated by Sergio Busquets.

The defensive midfielder had earlier been proud to inherit the No 5 shirt which was worn by Carles Puyol. 

There was an embarrassing moment at his press conference on Friday when Douglas admitted he did not know who had worn the No 16 shirt before him.

Sylvinho was the player that used the number, for four seasons, before Busquets acquired it in 2009-10.

Douglas is not available for the game against Villarreal on Sunday night, but instead will be ready to play after the international break.
