Double sessions for Barcelona as Valverde waits on Semedo
Barça are stepping up preseason plans ahead of trip to the U.S.
Semedo has not began training yet but could decide to go on the tour
Barcelona have another double session of work at the Ciutat Esportiva on Saturday and Ernesto Valverde now has the majority of his squad available to him.
After Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Denis Suárez, Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Piqué, Neymar Jr, Leo Messi and Arda Turan returned to training on Friday, the team is now waiting on Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, André Gomes and new signing Nelson Semedo to complete the group.
Barça are also waiting for Gerard Deulofeu, who has been at the club's training base in Sant Joan Despi but is still recovering from a muscle injury he picked up at the UEFA U21 Championships in Poland, where Spain lost to Germany in the final.
The players undertook their first session at 9.30am on the Tito Vilanova pitch (joined by Marlon Santos, Carles Aleñà, Marc Cucurella, Sergi Palencia, Adrian Ortolà and Vitinho) and the second session will be at 6.30pm.
