Gonzalo Castro and Papastathopoulos are unimpressed with the Frenchman

Barcelona have tried to sign him to replace Neymar

Ousmane Dembele's rebellion has not been taken well by his team-mates at Borussia Dortmund. Some have been very critical of the French winger's behaviour.

Gonzalo Castro spoke out about his attitude, which saw Dembele refuse to show up for training after Barcelona's interest. "We are dealing with this in an internal manner but you have to say it loud and clear that you cannot do this and his behaviour hurts the team," he said. "If a player can say 'now another team wants me, I won't train any more', it will be fatal for football."

Sokratis Papastathopoulos was also upset and told Kicker: "He's a good guy but should understand that no player in the world is more important than the team. He doesn't have right to do what he wants. When he chose to stop training, it was a bad decision. You can't forget that he has a long contract with Dortmund still.

"He should look at the example of Aubameyang, who wanted to leave but always had an exemplary attitude, giving everything in each training session and game. Today it's frankly difficult to say he will be able to reintergrate himself into the team. He gives the impression that he doesn't want to be part of our family."
