Digne's arrival will bring Adriano's spell at Camp Nou to an end

Adriano is leaving Barcelona. The club have his successor practically tied down in the form of French full-back Lucas Digne and the Brazilian has decided to leave the club before pre-season starts.

He’s set to arrive in Barcelona on Sunday to meet with the club and to take the best decision for all parties. There’s an offer from Lazio, but it’s not been ruled out that he returns to Brazil for family reasons.

In any case, the final decision will be taken soon.

Lazio’s offer has been on the table for a number of weeks and Adriano has pre-agreed a four-year deal with the Italian club. Their sporting director, Igli Tare, met with Barça to submit an official offer.

He did so accompanied by the agents Shuaibi Ramzi and Ramon Arasa, who have negotiated the deal.

In principle they wanted him to be allowed to move for free, but they are now ready to pay a small amount of money, which won’t be more than 1.5 million euros.

Adriano had decided to sign for Lazio, but in recent days he’s not ruled out a move back home to Brazil for strictly personal reasons.

He’s met with Raul Sanllehi and one of his former agents to look into the possibility of a move which would surely not yield any compensation for Barcelona.

The player knows he doesn’t have a place in Luis Enrique’s squad next season and is ready to leave in search of minutes elswhere.
