Denis Suarez could return to Barça this summer but not play until January 2016
After the close of the season, Barcelona have had to decide what to do with players who spent last season out on loan. Taking into account the FIFA embargo on registering players until the next winter transfer window, the option of recalling loanees has to be one of the priorities for the club.
However, in some cases, returning players also would not be able to play until January. This would be relevant to central midfielder Denis Suarez. According to Todomercado Web, the fact that his loan deal was projected to be until 2016 and that the player would be recalled early, due to "an alteration in the deal between both parties."
At the heart of the issue is the fact that the agreement between both clubs was before the FIFA sanction, and that the deal "may not be able to be altered, although Denis Suarez technically belongs to Barcelona."
