Dani Alves responds to his critics and to Cristiano Ronaldo

FC Barcelona’s Brazilian defender Dani Alves has responded to his critics with another enigmatic message on social media.

After being a substitute in the win over Athletic Club, with Aleix Vidal playing at right-back, Alves sent a message to all those insinuating that he is now finished.

It was also directed at Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he had a clash with at the recent Ballon d’Or ceremony. On Sunday, Ronaldo suggested people like Alves only spoke about him to gain publicity.

Alves has uploaded a photograph to his Twitter account of himself and all the trophies he has won throughout his career. We are talking 30 trophies, which is equal with Brazil legend Pele. He wrote “Buenos dias” alongside the image and added several emojis.

There are the trophies which appeared with Dani Alves in the photo:

—4 Copas del Rey (3 Barça, 1 Sevilla)

—5 Spanish Super Cups (4 Barça, 1 Sevilla)

—5 La Ligas (Barça)

—3 Champions Leagues (Barça)

—1 U20 World Cup (Brazil)

—2 UEFA Cups (Sevilla)

—4 European Super Cups (3 Barça, 1 Seville)

—1 Copa America (Brazil)

—2 Confederations Cups (Brazil)

—3 World Club Cups (Barça)
