Cristian Tello travels to Italy to complete loan to Fiorentina
Cristian Tello will play at Fiorentina this season.
Pending the official confirmation by both clubs, the forward will arrive in Florence on a loan deal.
As reported by the Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio on his website on Sunday night, the player will travel on Monday morning to the Italian city to sign and be presented with the Serie A side.
As part of the agreement, an option to buy has been included, that can be exercised at the season's end, at the price of between seven and eight million euros.
The main objective of FC Barcelona was to sell the 25-year-old player, as Luis Enrique Martinez has made clear that he does not feature in his plans neither in the short nor long term.
However, it has been decided to prioritise allowing the player to depart as soon as possible, with the idea of leaving the Barça squad outlined and permititng Tello to get to work with his new team.
Italian sources stated some days ago that the transfer amount requested by Barça for the player from Sabadell, made Fiorentina prefer the loan formula.
It should be remembered that the forward already represented the 'Viola' last season, when he also joined on loan in the winter transfer window.
