Corriere: Andre Gomes is a Napoli target
The Barcelona midfielder could head to join the southern Italian side
Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri has told the owner Dino de Laurentiis Jr, where reinforcements need to be made for next season. According to Corriere dello Sport, Andre Gomes is one of the men on the wanted list, as well as Dutch midfielder Davy Klaassen.
Napoli want to bolster their midfield and Sarri believes both of them would be good options. Gomes, of Barcelona, has been on Napoli's agenda for a while, and so has Everton's Klaassen.
Gomes was close to signing for Napoli in 2015 and he has had a very difficult year at Barca, to the point where he spoke about his time there as "hell". He has played 31 games. Klaassen has featured in 17 for Everton.
Barca paid 37m euros for Gomes and he has a 100m euro release clause.
