Comment: Barça humiliated a ridiculous Real Madrid at the Bernabeu

Barcelona humiliated Real Madrid. That is clear. The Blaugrana put on an authentic football exhibition in the Bernabeu, knocking out Benitez and his players in the Clasico. From the beginning to the end, FC Barcelona were superior to Los Blancos, who were ridiculed and booed by their own fans. The final result (0-4) could have been more, because Luis Enrique's side had chances to make it an even more scandalous scoreline. 

Messi stayed on the bench to begin with. It wasn't worth the risk. Barça, however, still confirmed their superiority in the early minutes of the game - and that was confirmed with goals from Luis Suarez (in a move which involved everyone except Claudio Bravo!) and Neymar, just before the break. The handkerchiefs on display at the break from the Madrid fans demonstrated what they thought about Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Co. 

Barça killed off the game with a goal from Andres Iniesta. And Luis Enrique, at 0-3, brought on Messi. FC Barcelona smelt blood and sensed Madrid were there to be destroyed, with Benitez's job even on the line perhaps. The fourth goal arrived (Suarez's second), but the 'manita' did not arrive. Even Gerard Pique, who was heavily jeered by Madrid fans, did everything he could to score the fifth. He was turned on by the game. 

FC Barcelona are now six points clear in La Liga. But that, really, doesn't matter at the moment. What is important is that they returned to show their enormous superiority over Madrid who, despite having all their stars on the pitch, were a cartoon of a team. A team who will be hurt, really hurt by this loss. As hurt as their manager, who will find it difficult to end the season in charge if he can't make radical changes. Benitez's days could be numbered on the Blancos bench.
