Claudio Bravo wants Barcelona and Real Sociedad to pay his transfer commission

Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has filed a lawsuit against his current club, FC Barcelona, and his former club, Real Sociedad, for a total of 1.3 million euros, which is 10 percent of the value of his transfer last summer.

Bravo, who is currently at the Copa America with his national side, is claiming 10 percent of the fee which saw him swap the Basque Country for Catalonia, something players often give up through some form of specific clause in their contract.

FC Barcelona were aware of the player's intention to present this demand. The club must now appear in person to recognise the invalidity of the clause in which Bravo gave up 10 percent of the transfer.

It is expected that in the coming days a meeting will take place in Barcelona to sort things out between the player's agent, Cristian Ogalde, and legal teams from the two clubs.
