Chelsea to test Pedro Rodriguez's resolve to stay at Barcelona

Pedro Rodriguez has not been left in peace all summer and that does not look like changing. He has decided to stay at Barcelona, but there have been offers from Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG. Now Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have entered the scene to create doubts around the forward's future once again.

The player's desire is to continue at Barça, but his agent has had Europe's biggest clubs citing their interest. Chelsea, after missing out on Arda Turan, are the most recent side to make their move for Pedro. In England, the press are reporting that Mourinho is prepared to pay as much as 20 million euros for the Spanish international.

Chelsea are convinced that Pedro will leave because of the lack of minutes he will get under Luis Enrique, especially after January when Arda and Aleix Vidal become available. Pedro, despite saying he will continue at Barça, has also admitted his situation is difficult. Mourinho is a big fan of the player, especially his versatility and his goal threat.

However, it's difficult to imagine Pedro changing his mind as he targets more trophies with Barça. It is true that he's more likely to leave now than previously, but he has already rejected offers from Liverpool and Arsdenal this summer.
