Champions League group permutations: Who needs what?
With one round of fixtures to go in the Champions League group stages, nine teams have qualified for the last 16. Real Madrid, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Juventus, Man City, Barcelona, Bayern and Zenit St Petersburg.
In the final, decisive set of games, up to 13 teams are battling for seven places to qualify.
Group A: Shakhtar Donetsk and Malmo are playing for a place in the Europa League. The Ukrainians just need to equal what Malmo do in the Bernabeu to be third.
Group B: Wolfsburg, Man United and PSG are playing for the two places to reach the next round. Wolfsburg qualify if they win or draw against United. PSV don't beat CSKA Moscow. Man United qualify if they beat Wolfsburg. Equal what PSV do against CSKA Moscow. PSV qualify if they beat CSKA Moscow. Draw and Man United lose to Wolfsburg.
Group C: Galatasaray will be third if they don't lose against Astana. Atletico and Benfica battle for top spot.
Group D: Sevilla will be third if they beat Juve and Borussia Monchengladbach don't do the same against Man City.
Group E: Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and BATE fight for second place. Roma qualify if they beat BATE. Draw with Bate and Bayer don't beat Barcelona. Bayer qualify if they beat Barcelona and Roma don't beat BATE. BATE qualify if they beat Roma and Bayer don't beat Barcelona.
Group F: Arsenal battle Olympiacos for second place. Arsenal qualify if they beat Olympiacos by more than one goal or by one goal with a score of 2-3 or bigger. Olympiacos qualify if they beat or draw with Arsenal or lose 0-1 or 1-2.
Group G: Porto, Chelsea and Dynamo Kiev battle for the two places. Porto qualify if they beat Chelsea, or Dynamo Kiev don't beat Maccabi. Chelsea qualify if they get a point or more against Porto, or if Dynamo don't beat Maccabi. Dynamo qualify if they beat Maccabi.
Group H: Valencia and Gent battle for second place. Gent qualify if they beat Zenit or if Valencia don't beat Lyon. Valencia qualify if they beat Lyon and Gent don't do the same against Zenit.
