Ceballos tells Quique Setién he has decided to leave Real Betis
The midfielder had a meeting at the club's offices on Tuesday
Both Barça and Madrid are vying for the youngster's signature
Real Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos has already decided that he will not continue at the club this summer. According to Seville-based newspaper ABC, the player told new coach Quique Setién in the meeting they had on Tuesday in the offices at the Benito Villamarín.
After the meeting he had with the Betis hierarchy, Ceballos communicated to the former Las Palmas coach that he feels ready to take a step up to a bigger team, although he didn't reveal which of the offers he has on the table he is leaning towards.
The Andalusian midfielder, who is wanted by both Barcelona and Real Madrid, is clear that his time with Betis is ending. The player is not contemplating the idea of signing for another team and remaining in Seville on loan. Now he just has to decide on his next destination.
Spain U21 international Ceballos' release clause is 15 million euros. On Tuesday, with his representatives from Bahia International, he spent the day at Betis' offices negotiating his future.
