Jordi Masip 7 - A couple of very good saves, one piece of slightly dodgy handling and a good penalty stop.

Adriano 6 - Played out of position and never looked fully comfortable.

Gerard Pique 6 - Scored a simple header but got split with Bartra a couple of times.

Marc Bartra 6 - Not the best display, but had one good driving run forward.

Jordi Alba 6 - Much quieter than usual, didn't get forward an awful lot down the left.

Sergi Samper 5 - Looked uncertain and couldn't help stop some Espanyol attacks.

Sergi Roberto 6 - Better than he's looked on recent outings, a good cross which Suarez should have scored from.

Rafinha 5 - He's still coming back from injury and could not help crack the Espanyol defence.

Pedro 5 - This was a chance to prove himself and he did not take it. Ineffective.

Luis Suarez 7 - A marvellously cheeky assist helped Barcelona break the deadlock.

Munir El Haddadi 5 - A turgid display from the player whose development seems to have stalled a little.

Subs:

Montoya 5 - Gave away the free kick which Espanyol equalised from.

Ie 5 - A poor passback was nearly capitalised on.

Adama 6 - Caused a lot of danger but also looked unrefined, was booked.

Sandro 5 - No impact at all.

Xavi 6 - Added some brains to the mix.

Rakitic 6 - Came with energy and had a shot not far wide.
