Carles Aleña set for Barcelona first team spot next season
The midfielder is expected to be promoted from the B team this summer

Carles Aleña, despite being just 19 years old, heads the list of future prospects at Barcelona. The midfielder has a lot of quality and has made his debut in La Liga this season, as well as scoring in the Copa del Rey, with a golazo in Alicante.
Combining a magical left foot with excellent physique, he has everything he needs to succeed. At the club they are conscious that they need to take care of him and renew their ‘jewel’.
Another cantera midfielder who might return to the first team is Sergi Samper. He has not had luck on loan at Granada, with the man who wanted him brought in, Paco Jemez, leaving after just a few weeks.
It remains to be seen whether the club will send him out on loan once again or if they now consider him ‘mature’ and use him in the first team.
