Cadena Ser: Sevilla interfere again with a Barça target

Sevilla could be adding fuel to the fire that is burning around the goalkeeping position at FC Barcelona.

After the Catalan club's grudging acceptance regarding Claudio Bravo's decision to join Manchester City, the Blaugrana's technical secretary department have pinpointed Valencia's Diego Alves as their first choice to replace the Chilean.

However Sevilla could well complicate the deal, just as they did weeks back during Barcelona's attempts to sign Luciano Vietto.

According to radio station 'Cadena Ser Sevilla', the Andalusian club have offered three million euros to Valencia for the services of their Brazilian keeper.

Valencian media have stated that the player wishes to leave 'Los Che', and this has ignited the interest of several teams.

One of those is the Catalan side, who see him as the ideal candidate to back up Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Despite the fact that negotiations between the player and Barça are on the right path, the interference of Sevilla could become an obstacle to completing a deal.

The club based at the Sanchez Pizjuan already frustrated Barcelona's attempts to sign Vietto and Kevin Gameiro, agreeing to a partial swap deal with Atletico Madrid.

On this occasion however. it is possible that Valencia will prefer not to strengthen Sevilla, as they are clubs that share common sporting objectives this season and are therefore direct rivals.
