Braida: Pogba is a great player, hence so much interest in him

Ariedo Braida, sporting director of Barcelona, has returned to home after trying to negotitate with Juventus over the signing of French central midfielder Paul Pogba. After coming to an agreement with Juve's representatives, who were led by Beppe Marotta, Braida commented on the negotiations: "Pogba is a great player, but Juventus..."

Braida acknowledged that "Marotta is good friend, we are very fond of him," while speaking to Italian journalits Gabriele Parpiglia about the topic of Pogba. "Pogba is a great player, and due to this every big European club including Barcelona is interested in him."

Despite the confidentiality of the meeting, the journalist asked if Barça would return to pursue Pogba after the presidential elections, regardless of what Juventus had said. "Now I am returning to Barcelona in order to continue with the elections," explained Braida.
