Barça are surprised that the German club want 110 million euros

The Catalan club hope meetings can move things forward this week

Barcelona will have to do a lot more if they want to bring Ousmane Dembele to Camp Nout this season. In recent days we have told of the agreement between the club and the player, the first key step, although it's conditioned by Borussia Dortmund's desire to sell.

On Saturday, we revealed that Barça had to find away to reduce the skyrocketing market prices. That's because the first contact with the German club saw two very different valuations being talked about.

After the Barça-Dembele agreement, the club have been working on how to negotiate a deal. Their initial offer is 70 million euros and includes variables. It's an offer which is a long way short of what Dortmund want, which is more than 100 million euros. Some German sources indicate they will only sell for 110 million euros.

Barça say this is just they normal and that official meetings will take place soon.

It's going to be a busy week of meetings. As well as Dembele, Philippe Coutinho will also open the door for his move from Liverpool in this coming week. Meanwhile, Barça will be working on their Dembele offer -- although it won't reach 100 million euros.
