Juliano Belletti keeps a close eye on Barcelona. The former Blaugrana man has been a director at Coritiba for a while but acts as an ambassador for Barça.

This week he was in New York, where the tour Barcelona will be taking in the summer was presented. “I think the team’s doing very well,” said Belletti. “There are always good moments at Barcelona but the important thing is how you react in the bad ones, against the pressure, when you have to take on more responsibility. I think everything at the club is doing that very well.”

The Brazilian thinks Juan Carlos Unzue might be a good choice for coach after Luis Enrique. “He knows the club, he knows what Barcelona is in Catalunya and around the world too. When Guardiola arrived people doubted him and he bore it well. I like the idea that if there’s a new coach he’s someone who knows the philosophy of the club.

“ I think the dressing room is calmer than in recent seasons. When you have players like Messi, Iniesta and Pique, they help a lot, for this it could be a good path.”
