During the interview, Bellerin described himself as "a person who likes to take on new challenges. That's why I went to England. I always look for the best of myself and I consider myself a person who's not afraid of challenges."

On a possible return to Barça, he said that "I don't know if it would be a way to make up for things, but there's a lot of summer left to go. Now I'm focused on Spain U21s and the nice opportunity we've got at the European Championships."

Bellerin was sincere and also spoke about Valverdes, who he said is a manager to his tased. "It's difficult to see all the La Liga games in England because the channels usually show Madrid or Barça, but I've seen Athletic and Valverde is a coach that likes good football. He's always done well at the teams he's been at and he will be a good manager for Barça."

On his relationship with the Barça players, he said that "we've got on well since we were together at the Euros in the summer. There's a great atmosphere with the national team."
