The German club have made a big offer to Lille for the Ivorian hitman

Bayern Munich want to seal the signing of Lille striker Nicolas Pepe. The German club are clear that the forward is a priority objective and fear that Lille will keep raising the price unless they seal a deal now. They also fear the interest from other clubs, like Barcelona, so would like to get the matter in order.

Bayern delegate Laurent Busser has been watching Pepe live and they have been following him for months - without yet sealing a deal. In the winter window Lille told Bayern they would not accept a bid, saying the striker could only leave at the end of the season.

Bayern's revolution demands new attackers. Pepe is their key target, but Lille know they are about to qualify for the Champions League and that will only raise the price of their star player.

In Munich they are getting fed up of so much speculation. The German club have notified Lille that they will present a final offer for the player in the coming days.
