Bartra: We will see what happens with regards to my future at Barça

Marc Bartra is unsure of whether he will continue at Barcelona next season, as suggested by the defender's comments after Spain's friendly against Costa Rica this Thursday in Leon.

When speaking to Radio MARCA, Bartra spoke of his situation. "My minimum fee release clause has dropped to 12 million euros. We will see what comes of it," explained the Catalan defender.

This is the first time that Bartra has shown scepticism surrounding his future with Barça. Until this point, he has always maintained that his only aim is to wear the Blaugrana's shirt, although things might have changed after a season of few opportunities.

Bartra has been fourth-choice centre-back this year, behind Pique, Mascherano and Mathieu. Furthermore, Vermaelen has recovered from injury and could push Bartra further back in the pecking order, which could set up another Thiago situation. What appears clear, is that there won't be a lack of interest in the defender.
