The coach went out with a win in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday

Bartomeu also praised "the best player in the world" Lionel Messi

Barcelona manager says there will always be room for the club at Luis Enrique with the coach set to leave the club following Saturday's Copa del Rey triumph.

Luis Enrique revealed in February he would not renew his contracy beyond this season and ended his three-year era with his ninth trophy courtesy of a 3-1 win over Alaves at the Vicente Calderon.

After the game, Bartomeu said: “Luis Enrique has done a very good job and we are very grateful. The door is always open for him to return when he wants. He has been a successful manager”.

Lionel Messi scored the game's opening goal and then played a key role in his side's second two effort as Barça won their third Copa del Rey in a row.

On the Argentine, Bartomeu added: "He stood out and was the key, once again showed us that he is the best player in the world.

"Now we have to keep this good feeling and celebrate it as we have won a title against a great team and in the farewell match of this stadium.”
