Bartomeu on signings: Players will arrive which excite, others not so much

Ernesto Valverde is set to be named the new manager on Monday
After Barcelona won the 29th Copa del Rey in their history, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke to TV3 and Telecinco about next season.
Bartomeu wouldn’t confirm that Ernesto Valverde will take over as Luis Enrique’s replacement but did speak about changes which will happen within the squad.
“Every summer Barça have to strengthen and renew,” he said. “Players will go and there will be new signings.
“Players will arrive which excite, others not so much. We are clear on the job we have to do this summer.”
The Barça president also advanced that there will be a player from the B team who makes the step to the first team, but in no case was he prepared to name any names.
