Bartomeu avoids talking about contract renewals for Messi & Luis Enrique
The president is in China where the club are currently launching a new academy
They're two of the questions on the lips of all Barcelona fans this season: when will Leo Messi renew and will Luis Enrique continue on the bench next season?
Rumours have increased on both matters in recent weeks and months, but the club have been prudent and have not given any information away.
Josep Maria Bartomeu is currently in China, where the club are launching an FCBEscola with Mission Hills Group, and when he was asked about the Argentine and the Asturian he said: "We're not talking about those things."
Bartomeu only wanted to speak about Sunday's game against Atletico Madrid at the Calderon: "Luis Enrique has a game on Sunday, a really important game against Atletico Madrid."
He was less explicit when a journalist insisted on asking about talks to renew Messi's deal again. "Let's go, let's continue," he said, laughing with his usual diplomacy.
