Barcelona's possible rivals in Champions League last 16 draw

PSG and Bayern Munich are potential rivals for Luis Enrique's side in the next round of the Champions League

Finishing top of your Champions League group normally guarantees an easier draw in the last 16. That may not be true this year, though.

Barcelona's had already sealed top spot when they beat Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday as they ended the group phase with five wins from their six games.

Waiting for them as runners-up in the next round could be Bayern Munich of Paris Saint-Germain, both who finished second in their respective groups.

Benfica and Bayer Leverkusen are also confirmed as potential rivals, but it's PSG and Bayern who Luis Enrique will be keen to avoid.

Barça cannot meet Manchester City, however, as they were in the same group, but there may be other tough teams who finish second in their group.

They cannot meet Real Madrid or Sevilla, either, as Spanish sides cannot be drawn together at this phase of the competition.

Porto, who pipped Copenhagen to second place in their group with a win over Leicester, are Barça's final possible opponents.

Therefore, Barça could draw PSG, Bayern, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen or Porto in Monday's draw.

Group winners: Barcelona, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Leicester, Napoli, Monaco, Juventus

Runners-up: Manchester CIty, PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Porto, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla
