Barcelona's Neymar and Luis Suarez threatened by Zika virus

Neymar and Luis Suarez, two of the three parts of FC Barcelona's trident take each other on, on March 25, as Brazil meet Uruguay in the qualifiers for the Russia 2018 World Cup.

An encounter set to take place at Recife's Arena Pernambuco, which will see Suarez back in the international fold after nine games out for biting Chiellini at World Cup 2014.

It is a game which should entertain, considering the size of the encounter, but there is another 'protagonist'. The Zika virus. A virus transmitted by mosquito which does initially not give any symptoms.

This has put the world saniary authorities on alert, and also the world of sport. The next Olympics, set to be held in Brazil, have provoked diverse reaction to the virus, with some people afraid to go for fear of the virus.

In the case of Neymar and Luis Suarez, their clash is set to take place in the 'ground zero' of the Zika outbreak. The tropical climate there and few health resources led to it spreading to more than 20 countries in the Americas.
