Barcelona's key week: Nine points in just seven days on the agenda

The hour of truth has arrived: Barcelona have three matches, two away from home, in seven days coming up in what promises to be a key week.

After picking up nine points in Luis Enrique's first three league games in charge, Barça now have the chance to replicate that over a very short space of time.

And the aim will be, of course, to pick up nine more points with little time to rest.

First up, Barça visit the Ciutat de Valencia (Sunday 21, 21:00), where they will take on Jose Luis Mendilibar's Levante side.

Three days later (Tuesday 23, 22:00h), the Blaugrana head even further south to take on Malaga at La Rosaleda.

Finally, the third game of an intense week sees Barça return to Camp Nou for a match against Granada (Saturday 27, 18:00h). It will be the last match before they return to Champions League action against Paris Saint-Germain (Tuesday 30, 20:45h).

APRIL, MORE OF THE SAME

Barça will not live anything like that again until the beginning of April, when they are set to play against Celta, Almeria and Sevilla (weeks 29, 30 and 31) in the same week.

Fifteen days later, they meet Espanyol, Getafe and Cordoba (weeks 33, 34 and 35) over a seven day period as well.

INJURIES LOOKING GOOD

Luis Enrique can tackle the key week with just one injury - Jordi Masip. The goalkeeper has a broken finger on his right hand.

Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez remains sanctioned until the end of October.

Meanwhile, Thomas Vermaelen, despite not yet receiving the medical all clear, is now training normally with the rest of the Barcelona squad.
