Barcelona's first ever top flight trip to Girona is now a sell out
Both sets of supporters are looking forward to the Catalan derby
Girona have started their first ever La Liga campaign well
There are no tickets left for the first ever top flight Catalan derby between Girona and FC Barcelona at Montilivi this weekend.
As soon as the tickets were made available for Saturday's La Liga game -- which kicks off at 20.45h -- they were gone.
Tickets went on sale to socios on Sept. 5 and then to the general public on Sept. 11 and were rapidly sold out -- Montilivi only has a capacity of around 14,000.
The rush to see Lionel Messi and Co. take on newly promoted Girona in the Primera Division was, of course, always expected.
Girona have told season ticket holders that they can free their tickets for re-sale if they can't make the game up to 48 hours before kick off.
