FC Barcelona train as countdown to Espanyol clash begins

FC Barcelona have started to prepare for the derby against Espanyol at Camp Nou. After enjoying two days of rest, following the triumph over Real Betis on Saturday, Luis Enrique led training with all the players that were available, with Claudio Bravo out.

Bravo suffered a calf injury against Betis and everything currently indicated he will miss the remaining games. That is to say, the derby at Camp Nou and the final match at Los Carmenes against Granada. Despite the Blaugrana not confirming it officially, he will miss next weekend's game and it is not known when he will be fit again.

On the other hand, Jeremy Mathieu, who has trained recently after getting his knee operation, will be back soon but is still waiting for his medical clearance.
