Barcelona take action against two ex-Madrid players for Neymar comments

FC Barcelona want to put an end to put an end to violence in football - both on the field of play and verbally, through certain commentators and analysts in the media.

The Catalan club, through their legal department, have announced on Monday that they will take action against former football players and current commentators, Manolo Sanchís and Poli Rincón for the comments they made during the Clasico, justifying Isco's kick on Neymar.

Barça consdier the two ex-Madrid player's words unacceptable. During the game, Sanchis said: "Neymar is going over the line, he isn’t getting [hit] enough." As for Rincon, he said:  "If I am there, I hit him, there should be no doubt that I hit him; me and anyone else.”

In their statement, Barcelona said they consider "these statements to be an invitation to violence and therefore asks the Anti-violence Commission to act."
