Barcelona straight back to training but where's Luis Suarez?

It's less than 24 hours since Barcelona kicked off their Champions League campaign with a win against APOEL, but on Thursday morning they were straight back to training.

Luis Enrique now has his mind on Barça's next match, away against Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia on Sunday.

With that in mind, all of the available first team players - plus Sergi Samper, Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez - took part in a session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Dani Alves, however, did some individual training after coming through 90 minutes against Apoel, while Thomas Vermaelen trained with the group.

The Belgian is still to be given the medical all-clear, though.

Luis Suarez was missing from the session. The Uruguayan forward is in Qatar where he is taking part in the presentation of Qatar Airways' new Airbus.

Barça were quick to explain why he was allowed to be absent from training:

"This has occurred because of an exceptional situation," they said. "It was a post-match training session and on Friday the team has a day of rest."
