Barcelona star Gerard Pique takes a walk in San Francisco

Gerard Pique was given permission to take a walk in San Francisco on Wednesday, leaving his team-mates after eating with them at the hotel. 

Pique had already made headlines during the flight from Los Angeles, because before take-off he was allowed to get behind the wheel of the aircraft.

There was no delay in fan reaction to Pique's walk, because many supporters had already come to the doorstep of the hotel to get an autograph from one of their idols.
