Barcelona B set to sign Dani Romera from Almeria

Dani Romera is close to signing for Barcelona B. 

Negotiations between Barcelona and Almeria have reactivated in the last few hours according to La Voz de Almeria and the transfer should be sealed on Monday. 

Romera had a good season with Almeria B where he scored 15 goals.

The forward also beame the youngest Almeria footballer to make their debut, at 18 years old and 94 days, when he took on Celta Vigo.

Negotiations started in June but slowed down, until Barcelona reopened them late in August. 

According to the same source the player was planning to stay at Almeria but progress to the first team, though Barcelona's offer would seduce him and he would look at the transfer in a good light. 

Gerard Lopez's team has just Dongou as a pure centre-forward and as has been seen in the first two games, needs more goals. The signing of Romera would be good for both parties, though he cannot play until January because of the FIFA sanction. 

Romera would join Ezkieta, the former Osasuna goalkeeper, who is Barcelona B's only transfer so far.
