Deulofeu was sold to Everton in 2015 and is now on loan in Serie A

Barça have an option to re-sign him this summer for 12 million euros

FC Barcelona continue to follow Gerard Deulofeu's performances at AC Milan. Their scouting team are observing every match he plays in Italy and on Sunday at two people at Milan's match with Palermo at San Siro, according to AS.

Deulofeu produced another fine performance, playing well and scoring the last of the four goals in his side's 4-0 win. The winger from Riudarenes is already an idol in his new home and celebrated by showing the boot which had scored with.

There's a good chance he will return to Barcelona based on current form. The Catalan club have an option to re-sign him for 12 million euros from Everton, who still own him -- he's on loan at Milan. He is one of the players of the moment and the Blaugrana are studying the option.

If they do sign him, it would then be down to the new manager to decide whether to keep him as part of the first team or sell him again for more than 12 million.

In just a few weeks Deulofeu has gone from playing no part under Ronaldo Koeman at Everton to starring at Milan and forcing his way back into the Spain squad, scoring in the win over France and winning a penalty.
