Barcelona ratings after they keep unbeaten record in Valencia

Ter Stegen 6

Luis Enrique was not happy with his play with his feet, something strange because this is usually one of his strong points. Saved Negredo's first shot for the goal but the rebound was fired home. Good save from a Danilo free-kick.

Aleix Vidal 6

Good game, one of the few positives of this clash. Ambitious in attack but lacked accuracy.

Marc Bartra 5

Caught out on Negredo's goal, playing the Valencia man onside. Finished up as captain after Adriano went off.

Thomas Vermaelen 7

The defender with the best ability to bring theb all out, and didn't lose it in dangerous areas. Fouled a few times while on the ball. Good in the air. They say in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. This is a good example.

Jeremy Mathieu 3

Commited errors when on the ball, although later he saved one from crossing the line. Didn't look comfortable at all at centre-back. Suffers perpetually there.

Adriano 5

The captain played on the left. Didn't do badly, or stand out. For someone who wears the armband, should do more, no? Taken off for Douglas.

Sergi Samper 5

Didn't take part in the creation of play nor the destruction of it. In the first half he was occasionally found in zones which nobody worries about. After the break he improved, but only by a little.

Sergi Roberto 6

Started playing high up, but saw the trouble the team had in the middle and came deeper, covering a lot of ground.

Ivan Rakitic 6

Tried to add fluidity and ball circulation, with differing results. Tried to score the most, but he had his sights askew this night.

Sandro Ramirez 4

The least useful of the forwards. Didn't get involved a lot, seemed disconnected.

Munir El Haddadi 6

Created the moves that unbalanced Valencia the most, but his shooting was poor. Stopped a Bartra goal by getting in the way. It's not the first time. Just ask Pique.
