Luis Enrique gives Barcelona players two rest days after Malaga win

After Barcelona's 1-0 win over Malaga at Camp Nou, Barcelona's squad have been given two days of rest and it will not be until Tuesday, September 1, that the team return to work - without the players called up for international duty.

Defneders Gerard Pique, Marc Bartra and Jordi Alba, as well as midfielders Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, have been called up by Vicente del Bosque to play in the Spain squad.

Forward Munir El Haddadi, meanwhile, has been called up by Albert Celades to play for Spain U21s against Estonia.

Rafinha Alcantara will play with Brazil, along with Neymar Jr, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen is back in the Germany squad.

Thomas Vermaelen, Barcelona's hero against Malaga, returns to Belgium duty, while Arda Turan will join the Turkey squad, as he continues recovery from his ankle sprain.

He cannot play until January 1 for Barcelona, but Luis Enrique allowed him to join up with the national team despite his injury.
