Barcelona now have rough idea how much Bellerin deal would cost

Arsenal are a club who've sold their best players in the past and may negotiate

Hector Bellerin is Barcelona's No.1 target for next season. Barça are looking for a right-back and the Arsenal man is the best in his position, according to the reports the club have put together. But to make the deal a reality it will not be easy. We revealed yesterday that Arsenal want to renew Bellerin's contract, a move which obliges Barça to make their position clear on the man who used to play in the club's La Masia academy.

Since last summer, Robert Fernandez has been aware of everything which has surrounded Bellerin -- such as the offers the English club have received for him. The club feel one of those offers marks the price for the 21-year-old full-back. Barça have learned that Manchester City offered 30 million pounds for Bellerin. That's around 35 million euros.

Arsenal are a club familiar with selling. But they sell expensively. Barça, unfortunately, know that from first hand experience -- a lot of first hand experience. To avoide the price shooting up, Barça want to guarantee there is a mutual understanding with Bellerin.

In October, Hector and his agent, Albert Botines, have a meeting with Richard Law, who is responsible for player contracts at the London club, to talk about a new deal, as the club have promised. It will prove the key moment in the player's future. Before Bellerin, though, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have to pass through the offices and talk terms.

Everything must be discussed in the coming weeks. Bellerin is a sought-after player and Barça are not able to get involved in an auction. The club need Bellerin to reject Arsenal's offer and make it clear to the club that it's the moment to negotiate his sale.

Arsenal rejected City's offer as they considered it insufficient and because there was still three years on Bellerin's contract (2019). By next summer that will be down to two years and if he hasn't renewed 35 million euros will look like a reasonable price. Remember that Barcelona paid 35 million euros for Dani Alves.
