Robert spoke about Bellerin, Isco, Arda Turan, Vidal and Alba

"Bellerin is a great player but he has a contract with Arsenal"

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez spoke to RAC 1 and said that in the summer "there will not be as much movement as last year, but of course we will do things. You [always] have to look at certain positions."

Everything suggests one of the priorities is to sign a right-back: "Well, last year we didn't sign one because we felt we already had that position covered with Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal. It was absurd to bring in a third option. But, finally, maybe now it will be important to sign in that area. [Arsena's Hector] Bellerin? He's a great player, no doubt, but he has a contract with Arsenal."

Robert also confessed he expected some of last summer's signings to adapt better this year: "I know it's hard to adapt to a club like Barça and I saw that with my own eyes with top level players like [Michael] Laudrup and [Ronald] Koeman. It was tough for them at first, but you know how it went after. [Samuel] Umtiti, for example, has got off on a good foot, in exchange, Andre Gomes hasn't. We signed players for the future and we have a lot of confidence in them."

The Barça sporting driector also said that "we have a lot of faith in Jordi Alba and Aleix Vidal, even though they've had some tough moments" and that "we haven't received an offer from China for Arda [Turan]. If one arrives, we will look at it. Like all offers." He convincingly stated that "Mascherano is non-transferrable". And asked about Isco he said that "like Bellerin, they're great players, but with contracts with their clubs."
